The world’s first-ever permanent standalone Transformers and Peppa Pig stores are set to open inside Battersea Power Station in November 2024.

The stores are launching in the year that Transformers celebrates its 40th anniversary and Peppa Pig its 20th, will offer immersive, hands-on experiences with iconic characters from both global brands.

The Transformers store will cater to fans of all ages with an array of products and entertainment, from films and comics to toys and games. The store will feature dedicated areas representing the vast Transformers universe and display some of the most exciting products on the market, making it one of the largest UK destinations for Transformers fans. Visitors will be able to explore the brand’s 40-year history through nostalgic features and bespoke installations, including a large graffiti mural by MurWalls showcasing Transformers robots and Battersea Power Station.

In addition, the store will offer an exclusive, limited-edition cover of Skybound Entertainment’s award-winning Transformers comics. Shoppers can also explore collectible figurines from Hasbro, watch live demonstrations of Robosen Transformers Series robots, and experience demo stations for video games and the AR Trading Card game by Vanch Studios. The store will provide numerous photo opportunities and graphic displays celebrating the Transformers franchise, ensuring an engaging experience for visitors.

Next door, the Peppa Pig store will bring Peppa’s world to life. Curated to offer the best of Peppa Pig’s universe, the store will showcase products ranging from clothing and accessories to toys and imaginative play. Visitors will find exclusive British brand collaborations, including items from Emma Bridgewater, Trotters London, and Hummingbird Bakery, as well as Trunki’s playful ride-on suitcase.

The Peppa Pig store will also offer an exclusive range of London and Battersea Power Station-themed products, such as an updated edition of the Peppa goes to London book, which now includes the Grade II* listed Power Station and features the new character, His Majesty The King. Shoppers will have the chance to engage with interactive elements, from sitting in the driver’s seat of the Ty plush London bus to jumping in pretend muddy puddles and watching episodes of Peppa Pig  on a giant screen in the soft play seating area.

Families can enjoy free daily meet-and-greets with Peppa herself, offering plenty of hugs and photo opportunities as part of an ‘oinktastic’ family day out at Battersea Power Station.
