Luxury outerwear brand TROY London has joined forces with the much-loved, traditional childrenswear brand Trotters, to launch its debut collection of children’s jackets.

The two British brands have developed a mini version of TROY London’s bestselling wax jacket, with a playful pop of colour at the zip, and trimmed with a Liberty London fabric. 100% waterproof, the jackets provide the perfect family-friendly style solution for young adventurers, whether they are splashing through puddles in parks and playgrounds or running wild in the countryside. (Launching at troylondon.com, trotters.co.uk and at Liberty London in December, from £195)

The arrival of these mini replicas of TROY London’s adult Wax Jackets means parents can now twin with their little ones in tow, launching in both Navy Blue and Green. Made from naturally water-resistant wax cotton, milled in England, and lined with a technical, breathable membrane that is seam sealed for 100% waterproof protection, they are not only practical and versatile but sustainably produced too launching with a limited edition first run. The jackets have practical pockets fastened with branded poppers, ideal for storing foraged treasures, toys, and gloves.

Producing high-quality garments using luxury fabrics and materials is of paramount importance to both TROY London and Trotters. Subsequently, both brands have made it their mission to deliver beautifully constructed children’s jackets that will last a long time, wash well, and be handed down to family and friends. The TROY London x Trotters collaboration champions these sustainable values and celebrates true British craftsmanship, utilising some of England’s finest manufacturers.

The jackets will be available in sizes: 2-3,4-5,6-7,8-9 and 10-11 and will be launching on both the TROY London and Trotters websites as well as in-store and at Liberty London.

Rosie van Cutsem says, ‘” I have always loved the King’s Road Trotters store as the iconic home of beautiful children’s clothing and experiences, whether finding those first school shoes to the very first haircut! As such it was a dream to collaborate with their experienced team to launch TROY’s first children’s jacket that is at once charming, nostalgic, but very importantly superior quality, comfortable and hardwearing so it can be passed on and enjoyed by many little adventurers over the years.

Sophie Mirman says, “Our collaboration with TROY is a project we are very excited about. Their brand, and their team are in perfect synergy with Trotters. When we consider any collaboration, it is important that their values, and aesthetic align with ours. The jackets in this collection are the perfect example of the success that can be had when two, independent, British brands, support each other, doing what they each do best. From the responsible sourcing of materials, to finding the perfect fit, we look forward to seeing our children’s wax jackets worn by your little ones in the coming month.

Working with TROY has been a wonderful experience of not only developing a new product, but also, the beginning of a wonderful partnership.”
