The Puppet Company, a leading name in puppets and soft toys, has unveiled its most meaningful creation yet – Hope, a special edition ECO Sockette puppet designed in collaboration with The Brain Tumour Charity.

This vibrant, long-sleeved knitted puppet not only sparks imaginative and sensory play but also serves a greater purpose – funding life-saving research and supporting services for those affected by brain tumours.

A Puppet with Heart and Purpose

The ECO Sockettes range, known for its sustainable, fun, and interactive designs, now welcomes Hope, a bold and colourful character inspired by The Brain Tumour Charity’s signature colours – turquoise blue, red, and white. Hope is designed to encourage storytelling, creativity, and play – while raising vital awareness for a cause close to the heart of The Puppet Company’s founding family.

For every Hope Sockette sold, £1 will be donated to The Brain Tumour Charity, directly supporting research and support services for individuals and families facing the challenges of a brain tumour diagnosis.

A Legacy of Love: Honouring Peter Lockey

The creation of Hope is deeply personal for The Puppet Company. Following the tragic loss of co-founder Peter Lockey to a stage 4 glioblastoma in 2021, the family wanted to honour his legacy of joy, creativity, and kindness. Hope is more than just a puppet – it’s a symbol of resilience, support, and the collective hope for a cure.

The launch of Hope aligns with Brain Tumour Awareness Month, growing its mission to spread awareness and support fundraising efforts. Hope will also make a special appearance at The Brain Tumour Charity’s Twilight Walk, with members of The Puppet Company and Lockey family joining the event in memory of Peter.
