Nursery brand Sweet Dreamers, the business behind ‘ewan the dream sheep’ sleep aid, has announced the acquisition of one of the UK’s original mum designed brands, Cuddledry.

Having truly conquered the sleep space with its fast-growing collection of sleep innovations, the acquisition will now see Sweet Dreamers support families throughout the whole evening routine, making them the go to brand for bubbles and cuddles, as well as snuggles and snoozing!

Speaking about the significant development, Lynda Harding, founder of Sweet Dreamers said:

“I have always admired Cuddledry as a brand, it is one of the truly iconic and original mum made innovations and I am honoured we have been entrusted to take the business on.  The brilliant Cuddledry handsfree towel complements our existing range and fits perfectly into our portfolio of products to now support parents and carers during the bath time and bedtime hour!”

Cuddledry from Sweet Dreamers

Soon to be rebranded , the original and multi award winning baby bath towel makes baby bath time safe and stress free thanks to its clever apron design. No more struggling to hold a slippery wet baby as well as a towel as the genius design attaches to the parent/carer like an apron, keeping them dry while they lift and wrap baby quickly and easily out the bath. Just pop the hood over baby’s head, and simply cuddle them dry. Made with super soft bamboo and cotton, with TWO layers of towelling so baby is snug and warm.

Both brands have experienced phenomenal global success with their high quality, truly clever British designed innovations. Not only selling in the millions, but also trusted by many a high-profile parent such as Stacey Solomon, making them destined to be a fantastic combination. The iconic Cuddledry baby towel will now sit alongside the Sweet Dreamers collection including ewan the dream sheep, the ultimate sleep aid, Misty the Smart Cloud, a 4 in 1 night light and the cutest Sheeping bag… to name a few!

Speaking about handing the reins to Lynda and the team at Sweet Dreamers, Helen Woolridge, co-founder at Cuddledry said:

“We are delighted that Cuddledry is now in the very safe hands of the team at Sweet Dreamers – the perfect combination of bath time and sleep time for babies and little ones.  We look forward to watching it grow and develop.  Exciting times!”
