Dionne Thurland, creator of the Pocketbum commented, “My desire to design something special came out of my own experience as a stylist in kidswear and more recently, as a mum. Pretty much all the babygrows on the market have either poppers or zips, but I wanted to create something different, which would benefit caregivers.  I found that poppers were just not practical – especially at night – and I would often give up trying to put the babygrow back together after changing my baby’s nappy. I wanted to design a babygrow that would be much easier to get on and off, feel super comfortable, and would prevent small feet pushing through the gaps between poppers.
