The PPS Awards recognise and celebrate excellence across both product and retail, with special awards also covering marketing and individual excellence.

It is with great excitement that the shortlist for the Product, Marketing and Independent Retailer Categories at the Progressive Preschool Awards 2021 have now all been unveiled. There is a strong collection of brands in the running and across product it’s sure to be a hotly contested battle as eight fantastic finalists in each category line up to win one of the prestigious accolades.

Now in its 7th year, the awards has received more entries than ever before, with a wealth of top products across the board. The awards event itself is one of the most exciting in the industry calendar, bringing together the whole preschool sector for an afternoon of celebration and this year will return as a live event on Thursday 11 November at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, endorsed and sponsored by leading names including the British Toy & Hobby Association, Baby Products Association, and Toymaster.

“We really have been blown-away with the quality and volume of entries we had this year for the PPS Awards,” commented Jo Pilcher, publication and event manager for Progressive Preschool.

“With all the difficulties the industry has faced over the last 18 months with the pandemic, the various lockdowns and now the ongoing freight issues, we cannot wait to come together on 11 November to celebrate everything the industry has achieved and have a huge ‘preschool’ party!”

“We can’t wait for this year’s Progressive Preschool Awards to return to its physical format,” commented Rebecca Deeming, public relations and events manager at the BTHA. “Toy Fair is proud to continue to sponsor such a great event and with preschool products a key driver of the UK toy market, it’s important that we can come together as an industry to celebrate the preschool sector’s successes.”
