Progressive Preschool Awards event will go on

Entries have been coming in thick and fast for the Progressive Preschool Awards 2020 event on Tuesday 3 November.

Meanwhile, retailers have been jumping at the chance to take part in the online judging process.

The deadline for entry has been extended to Friday 14 August, so there is still time to get involved.

Brands simply have to register, fill out the online form and press submit.

Rob Willis, director at Max Publishing, which owns and organises the Progressive Preschool Awards says,  “We’re certainly not kidding ourselves that events for the end of the year are hard to plan right now but as with any business we are ensuring that our clients get the service they expect – which in this case is a chance to be recognised for efforts and achievements in product, retail, marketing and more.”

He continued: “We take the current situation very seriously and would never compromise anyone’s safety, but we are still hoping for the best-case scenario – that we can all reunite to celebrate the achievements and recognise the outstanding efforts of the preschool sector over the past year. We are monitoring the government guidelines carefully whilst also maintaining daily contact with our event partners – we have a number of contingency plans, but whatever happens, there will be finalists and there will still be winners this year so do keep the entries coming in.”

About PPSA 2020

With over 1,150 products already entered, the PPSA 2020 judges will choose the best preschool product from across all ten categories.

This year, the entry and judging process has become entirely digital. Suppliers can register at the online entry portal to submit their most impressive new products and ranges of the past year.

Progressive Preschool Awards

The judging panel

Each year, the products are judged by an extensive panel of retailers and product experts from right across the UK. This year, they will all work virtually however.

“We really enjoy being able to support the awards every year,” said Sam Dickman, manager at A3 Baby Barn. “Being part of the judging process is great fun and really helpful as we always discover new brands. I will continue to champion the awards – especially this year – as I believe it’s more important than ever that suppliers get involved and take the opportunity to show us what they have done over the past year.”

If you’d like to get involved and be part of this year’s extended Progressive Preschool Awards judging panel, please get in touch with Jo Pilcher for more information.

To submit your entries for the product, retailer or special categories, please register at progressivepreschoolawards.co.uk.
