Plant-based cleaning brand enters the New Year on a high
Fast-growing plant-based family cleaning brand, Nimble has secured a substantial listing with family supermarket, Sainsbury’s. The new agreement will see two of the brands naturally derived cleaning products, hitting the shelves in 375 stores across the UK and online.
Adding to the excitement, Nimble has just successfully completed its first crowdfunding campaign. Having overachieved by a phenomenal 286%, the investment will play a significant part in supporting the brands listing in the national supermarket.
This December Sainsbury’s will start stocking two of the brands iconic products, proudly powered by plants and free from all harsh chemicals. Included in the new offering will be the brands flagship Milk Buster, a truly unique patented solution that gently removes milk fat and protein from plastic, and the Nimble Sticky Stopper, a highly versatile, bleach free antibacterial cleaning spray. The plant-based multipurpose product kills 99.9% of germs and removes all sticky and greasy residues from a range of surfaces, as well as being completely safe to use on children’s toys, bibs, highchairs or potties.
Securing yet another multi-national deal is a significant development for Nimble Babies, a brand that already boasts a lucrative network of retailers, including Boots, Amazon and Ocado, as well as ethical superstores and a number of independent retailers in the UK alone. It also has garnered international recognition across Taiwan, Philippines, Czech Republic and the Middle East.
Speaking about the recent developments, Von Sy, Founder of Nimble Babies said: “Ever since we launched in 2016, we have consistently heard from parents that they love the fact our cleaning products are naturally-derived, making them truly safe to use around children in the home. Our commitment to creating cleaning products that are just as effective as traditional solutions, but without any of the hazardous chemicals, has ensured there is a natural and safe cleaning option for all families.”
He added: “We are delighted to have secured shelf space in such well-known supermarket. This new listing certainly confirms that the demand for eco cleaning solutions is showing no signs of slowing down Having also smashed our crowdfunding campaign was just fantastic and we are excited to invest this funding to support the brand’s growth and development.”
