Welcoming the Inglesina Welcome Pod™
Launching in February 2024, this brand new baby nest is designed to transition infants from the muffled confines of the womb to the outside world by providing a protective place for sleep. Suitable for newborn babies until they are able to lift and turn alone, Inglesina’s Welcome Pod can then be used for supervised playtime and tummy time to help with cognitive and motor development.
Developed in Italy in partnership with the Baby Wellness Foundation and approved by experts in neonatology and baby wellness, combined with key foundations based on scientific studies, the Inglesina Welcome Pod creates a unique space for baby.
Special features of the Welcome Pod include:
- SPECIAL ERGONOMIC DISC for baby’s head to promote heat dissipation from the neck and is ergonomically designed to support alignment of the spine and easy breathing when lying on their back
- Highly protective and compact ANTI-CRUSHING EDGE PADDING AND A FIRM base to ensure baby is contained in the pod safely
- ADJUSTABLE CYLINDER AND OPENING AT THE BOTTOM of the Welcome Pod helps with baby’s posture and spinal alignment making it suitable for sleeping in up to 8 months old and for tummy time thereafter
- Made from COTTON AND BAMBOO, both breathable, washable natural fabrics with 3D cotton mesh inserts to promote maximum airflow and help control baby’s temperature and is available in-store and online from February in Delicate Pink, Peaceful Blue, Quiet Beige and Harmony Grey.
