The Children’s Furniture Company (TCFC), which specialises in beautifully designed, high quality furniture, kicks off 2021 with the appointment of a new chairman to support the company’s ongoing business growth.

Derek Lovelock is a respected figure in the retail sector; having previously held the positions of CEO for Mothercare and Executive Chairman for Mamas & Papas, as well as former Chairman of British fashion retailer Jack Wills, plus Oasis and Warehouse’s parent company Aurora Fashions.

As chairman at TCFC, which was set up in 2012 by husband-and-wife team Paul and Claire Hanson, Lovelock will bring his extensive knowledge of the nursery and retail markets to help drive the business forward to future expansion.
