Maxi-Cosi Pebble 360 infant carrier highly rated in safety by STiWa

Maxi-Cosi has announced the results for the Autumn 2021 testing by ADAC, part of the Stiftung Warentest group, annual research session. In the results published for October 2021, Maxi-Cosi performed highly with the brand’s newest infant carrier among the extensive 26 new products that were tested industry-wide.

Rating amongst the highest performers in the test was the new Maxi-Cosi Pebble 360, which was awarded an impressive four stars (1.8 rating) when used with the ingenious FamilyFix 360 base. This is just the fourth time that StiWa has tested the Group 0+/1/2/3 car seat category, and the team at Dorel Juvenile are thrilled that the newest model in their range is setting the bar.

Marketing Manager of Maxi-Cosi in the UK and Ireland, Debbie Wakefield said:

“To have received such praise from this international testing foundation is testament to the innovation, design and in-house testing of our car seat range at Maxi-Cosi. Each of our car seats are tested above and beyond the regulated requirements before it goes to market.  To continue to achieve such high results in the STiWa testing confirms why Maxi-Cosi is a market leader in all areas of children’s travel. We have high hopes for the newness in the coming year as we continue to push the boundaries of innovation in child safety.”

About ADAC

ADAC is a part of the Stiftung Warentest foundation that was set-up in 1964 by the German federal parliament to help consumers choose the best product for their needs. They do this by providing impartial and objective information based on the results of comparative investigations of goods and services. To do this, they undertake a consumer’s journey to purchase with a brand and carry out independent lab tests that go above and beyond the regulated safety measures. They then give their verdicts from ‘very good’ to ‘unsatisfactory’ based upon the findings of these tests and finally publish these annually.

The Maxi-Cosi Pebble 360 launched in April and is available in Essential Black, Essential Graphite, Essential Grey and Essential Green for the recommended retail price of £199. For more information log onto www.maxi-cosi.co.uk.

About Maxi-Cosi

The Maxi-Cosi brand was born in 1984 and has carried over 50 million babies home from the hospital. Maxi-Cosi is recognised as the leading brand in infant car seats, with many parents across Europe using ‘Maxi-Cosi’ as the generic name for a baby car seat. That reputation is built on a long history of innovative ‘firsts’: first 5-star ADAC rating, first i-Size car seat, first to invent the rotative car seat, first to make the family base and first to have air bags and modularity in baby car seats. The brand’s unparalleled safety standards are also a significant contributing factor behind its continued success. Maxi-Cosi aims for the highest level of safety, using internal safety standards and criteria to test all products next to the highest industry standard. As a result, Maxi-Cosi car seats have won numerous safety awards from independent safety research organisations.
