Although their carriers are designed with both parents in mind, with the construction and style of the baby carriers designed to suit both parents, BabyBjörn were pioneers in featuring fathers in their advertising from the early 60s. In fact, the sight of men carrying their babies out and about is often referred to as the “bjornification of dads.”

BabyBjörn’s range has four ergonomic carriers in a variety of fabrics and colours. The brand develops the majority of its fabrics in-house, allowing them to assure high and consistent quality and ensure that the fabrics offer the unique properties required of today’s parents. All fabrics in contact with baby meet the requirements of OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Class 1 for baby products.

Babies are being carried in a natural position, with their back in a gentle c-curve. The entire front section of the carrier opens for parents to put down their sleeping baby, and there is no fabric between the baby and parent’s chest, so ideal for skin-to-skin contact.

It has a long period of use, from newborn to three years. The soft fabric hugs the baby’s back, legs and hips, and provides good support.
