Nearly 180 companies from around 20 countries will be at the Re-Start edition Kind + Jugend 2021 in Cologne from 9 to 11 September 2021.

The Kind + Jugend team is very pleased to welcome trade fair visitors again from 9 to 11 September 2021. After Kind + Jugend had to be suspended last year due to the pandemic, the trade fair is now back. It will be a small and fine, very focused, but nevertheless extremely worth-seeing event, which has been deliberately called “RE-START EDITION”. This Kind + Jugend is a sign of the resilience of the entire industry, which, despite many restrictions, continues to stand by parents to accompany the first years of life with good, safe and, of course, beautiful products.

Around 180 exhibitors show with their compact presentations that the industry for baby and toddler products is in line with the latest trends. The exhibitor field will focus on home textiles, decoration and clothing, but there will also be some manufacturers of prams and pushchairs. The current list of exhibitors can be seen on the Kind + Jugend homepage. The exhibitors come from Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Denmark and other European countries. And companies such as Lässig, Thule, Engel, Sterntaler and Thermobaby will demonstrate their sustainable products and concepts.

In addition to the product ranges from exhibitors, the Trend Forum of Kind + Jugend provides insight into trends and ideas, which are prepared by experts like Trendbible. All exhibitor information and lectures are also available on the digital platform Kind+Jugend @home, here until the end of October. This temporal extension significantly increases the reach of Kind + Jugend and its exhibitors in terms of both time and space.

The restart edition of Kind + Jugend 2021 will be implemented in hall 10.2 in a way that facilitates easy compliance with distancing and other hygiene rules. With the help of an app, visitors will also be able to avoid crowds and have a comfortable visit all the way from the car park to the exhibition halls.

Safety is the priority: admission to the Re-Start Edition of Kind + Jugend 2021 is open to fully vaccinated visitors, who have been recovered for at least 28 days and a maximum of six months, as well as to persons who have currently tested negative (for antigen tests a maximum of 48 hours, for PCR tests a maximum of 72 hours). This “3G” principle applies to all trade fair participants.

For the digital proof of vaccination, the digital COVID certificate “EU DCC” (European Union Digital Covid Certificate) of the EU Member States will be used. It contains a QR code that can be saved in various apps on the smartphone – in Germany, for example, in the CovPass app or the Corona warning app.
