As wood lovers and manufacturers, the team at Craftbuilt in New Zealand is always ready for a challenge. They say the sky is the limit and they work hard to fulfil their clients dreams.

One of their most recent projects was a bespoke crib sleigh bed and a four-drawer chest. The clients, located in Cambridge, New Zealand, were expecting their first child. They had found a picture of their dream crib on a UK website, but couldn’t wait 4-5 months for it to arrive.

The Craftbuilt experts spent hours hand drawing shapes, scrolls and curves. They chose solid oak and used traditional woodworking techniques with old-school machinery and hand tools. They worked to current product safety standards.

It took more than 80 hours to complete and the client was delighted, reporting that their baby girl (who arrived just three weeks later) sleeps very well in it.
