ADAC safety rating for Silver Cross Dream
The Silver Cross Dream car seat and Dream i-Size Base have been awarded the highest “Very Good” rating by independent testing organisation ADAC.
In the latest car seat test results revealed this week, only the Dream and Dream i-Size base achieved the “Very Good” ADAC safety rating.
German-based ADAC is an internationally recognised independent testing body, renowned for its rigorous approach to crash testing.
Hamish McPhillips, Silver Cross Car Safety Manager, said: “We work hard to ensure our car seats offer the safest possible environment for babies. We’re delighted to see this recognised with a class leading best-ever result from an internationally-recognised testing organisation.”
ADAC safety screening puts each car seat through a comprehensive range of front and side impact tests. The ADAC safety tests exceed standard European requirements and factor in other considerations such as ergonomics and pollutants.
An i-Size infant carrier suitable from 40-85cm (birth to approximately 12 months), Dream offers the very best in safety and comfort.
From their first journey home, babies are cushioned by the softest fabrics while four-layer side impact protection keeps them safe. Dream’s newborn insert is made from breathable natural bamboo fabric, which has thermo-regulating properties to keep little ones warm yet dry. Bamboo fabric is also anti-bacterial and hypoallergenic, making it perfect for sensitive baby skin.
