New Solo breast pump from Medela
The compact single electric breast pump has been reborn with a sleek new look, with even more features to keep single pumping simple and straight forward, fitting into mum’s life as easy as it does her handbag!
Small enough to fit into one hand, the Solo is light and compact, featuring a new easy to use design with a 4 button intuitive interface and 9 pre-programmed settings. What’s more, the Solo now includes an integrated USB rechargeable battery supporting up to 6 pumping sessions on full charge, making it faster and easier to use wherever mum may be.
Mums will notice the pump is much quieter than the previous generation, with less than 45DB at the maximum expression level.
Featuring a closed system to prevent milk from entering the tubing, the new model is easier than ever for mums to use at home or when out and about. With fewer parts, the Solo is easy to clean and assemble, keeping pumping hassle free for any busy parent.
Also including the iconic oval shaped PersonalFit Flex™ breast shield that helps to find the most comfortable position (whilst adapting to every mum’s unique shape), the Flex technology not only offers the very best support, but is also clinically proven to produce 11% more milk.
Medela’s Marketing Manager, Charlotte Price, commented:
‘Following the success of the new Swing Maxi launch, we are so excited to bring the developed design features to a single pump option. The Solo includes all of the great elements that made the Swing Flex so effective, but now with more efficiency in an even more compact design. We know the USB charging capabilities can be a real game changer for busy mums who may need to charge on the go, so it is so exciting to have that available in a single pump. Alongside the closed system and Flex technology, the Solo may be small but is certainly mighty!’
