Christmas wishes come true for buyers attending Harrogate International Nursery Fair

KIDS 'TIME 2019 - a record-breaking expo, one stop shop for the whole business sector

With nine Expo Halls and 500 exhibitors, from 20 to 22 February 2019 Kielce will be the showcase for companies from 21 countries, including Belgium, Finland, Spain, Portugal, Russia, the United States, Great Britain and Italy.

The Kielce exhibition hosts 7,500 business-insiders from over 40 countries from all corners of the world. The Targi Kielce guests meet the leading producers of articles for mother and child. Every year, the expo has broken its own records. In addition to Targi Kielce’s seven regular expo halls there will be two additional pavilions built to accommodate KIDS' TIME.

The H Expo Hall will be the showcase for prams and strollers, car seats and ... games. Retro games will also be the hallmark of the Relax Zone which makes its début at the upcoming trade fair. The expo programme features seminars plethora, foreign journalists and meetings with blogosphere representatives.

ABC 2018 records resounding success for retailers and exhibitors

The 16th annual ABC Kids Expo was held in October at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Nearly 1,600 retailers of all types and sizes from over 45 international destinations participated in the three-day event.

Event participants were thrilled with the new venue for the industry party, The Brooklyn Bowl, where checks were presented to children’s charities and Awards of Distinction were announced for products voted top in their class by attending retailers and media. Participants in the all new Juvie Games, emceed by the one and only Jamie Grayson, The Baby Guy NYC, were extremely entertaining and were cheered on by their peers.

Popular features of the show floor included a newly designed Plaza, open air New Product Showcase, The Buyer Connection, Solution Provider Center and interactive floor games.

A partnership with The Mother of All Baby Showers (MOABS) and Baby-Chick produced an enormous amount of social media coverage during the event.

“It was a wonderful experience working with ABC and its exhibitors to bring the expo to parents and parents-to-be, right from the comfort of their homes. Giving the brands additional exposure to consumers via curated live social media interviews played out very well across ABC’s social media channels, and it most certainly benefited the show and all of our audiences. Great success with 12% visitor growth at China Kids Expo 2018

After three days of intense business activities and a diverse array of engaging events, China Kids Expo 2018 was a great success alongside China Toy Expo, China Licensing Expo and China Preschool Expo.

The combined events organized by Koelnmesse and the China Toy & Juvenile Products Association (TJPA) grew by 28 percent in area compared with the previous year and gave a trade platform to 4,339 brands from 2,326 exhibitors. A total of 80,347 industry insiders from 136 countries were drawn to the four events - and 57,595 trade visitors visited especially China Kids Expo reaffirming its global importance within the kids goods industry.

“China is currently experiencing a whole new level of consumption, and this edition of China Kids Expo is reflecting this new consumer power,” says Mr. Keith Tsui, managing director of Koelnmesse China & HK.

He adds: “We are especially happy about the well-noted Kids Fashion Show that showcased more than a dozen Chinese and international kids fashion brands.”

The co-organizer, TJPA China, is also satisfied with the results.

“Over the years, China Kids Expo has been playing an important role in driving the establishment of industry clusters, and the results have been fruitful. This year, we’ve once again planned interactive activities based on the unique features of the products and have especially increased the Guinness World Record challenges to help more brands expand their market influence through these activities, " says Ms. Liang Mei, president of TJPA China.

Joie announces Liverpool FC Women's Captain, Sophie Bradley-Auckland, as its official ambassador

Baby brand Joie has announced Liverpool football player, Sophie Bradley-Auckland, as its official brand ambassador.

Joie is LFC’s official family partner and Sophie will work with the brand on its upcoming campaigns. This will involve driving awareness of Joie’s LFC product range through social media activity and Joie/LFC partner events, as well as representing Joie in national and parenting media.

Sophie Bradley-Auckland is a professional footballer, care home manager and mother to her young daughter, Macie. She has competed at both domestic and international level, joining the Liverpool FC Women’s team in July of this year.

Amazon hits the Nordics

Amazon is already the master of European e-commerce. Soon, it could be charging into the Nordics, according to the Business Insider Nordic website.

Several heavyweights point out that Amazon is currently looking for talent and the general belief is that Amazon.se will launch in the Spring, going into Sweden, Denmark and Finland at the same time and offering free, next day deliveries from a Nordic warehouse from the beginning.
